"It's like Harry Potter, only shorter and gayer."

And with more vampires. That's my elevator pitch synopsis of The Sacrifice, my latest story from JMS books. It is a full-length novel, and I feel it's one of my strongest stories to date. I feel it's good as a story, I feel it's good as a gay romance, and I feel it's good as an erotic novel, I feel the sex is hot.

I mean, I'm biased, but I will freely admit that Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme is a relatively weak story. It's fine, and enjoyable, but it's not my best. This is not my very best, but it's definitely above average for me.

Actual blurb:

For years now the harvest has been less than it should be. Last year the people of Oisin's village sacrificed a goat, but their god did not come. Now, in desperation, a human sacrifice has been suggested, and Oisin, recently orphaned and feeling life is not worth living, volunteers.

But the god Belinos is not quite what he seems, and Oisin's sacrifice will not be what he expects, for Belinos first came out of the darkness to drink the sacrificial blood not because he was a god, but because he was a vampire.

This is just the beginning of the changes to Oisin's life, as he is drawn further and further into a world of gods and magic, where the most unexpected thing is not even his own blossoming talent, but the blossoming feelings he has for Belinos.

Love between mortal and immortal is not without its difficulties, though. As outright war among the gods threatens, Oisin will end up making a far greater difference in the conflict than he could ever have dreamed possible.

If that interests you, you can find it for sale at the following locations:
The Sacrifice on JMS
The Sacrifice on Amazon

It should be for sale a bunch of other places as well, so if you have a preferred platform, just search for The Sacrifice by Stephanie Park, it should be easy to find. (And easy to spot, oh man, that cover! Ha ha haha. It's not especially accurate to the book, but it was the best that I could get given the system I'm working with.) If you can't find it, lemme know and I'll poke the publisher about it.

It will be out in paperback in roughly a month, probably. I was unable to get a specific release date, unfortunately, apparently JMS is having a little hiccup with print books right now. I will also be releasing a couple of bonus scenes, which a few people might enjoy! Although they were deleted from the original book because they are edgy, triggering material and so many people will probably not be interested, but you know, I'm a kinky bugger, so I wrote 'em anyway. :3
