Okay, so that's all sorted. (The Sacrifice, copies, etc.)

For years now the harvest has been less than it should be. Last year the people of Oisin's village sacrificed a goat, but their god did not come. Now, in desperation, a human sacrifice has been suggested, and Oisin, recently orphaned and feeling life is not worth living, volunteers.

But the god Belinos is not quite what he seems, and Oisin's sacrifice will not be what he expects, for Belinos first came out of the darkness to drink the sacrificial blood not because he was a god, but because he was a vampire.

This is just the beginning of the changes to Oisin's life, as he is drawn further and further into a world of gods and magic, where the most unexpected thing is not even his own blossoming talent, but the blossoming feelings he has for Belinos.

Love between mortal and immortal is not without its difficulties, though. As outright war among the gods threatens, Oisin will end up making a far greater difference in the conflict than he could ever have dreamed possible.

So everything is sorted with the publisher, and you now have four different ways to order a copy of this.

1. Get an e-book. On Amazon, from JMS Books. (Also available from basically every ebook distributor, so search for it on the platform of your choice.)

2. Get a paperback direct. On Amazon, from JMS Books.

3. Get a budget signed paperback from me! (These are the books with the wrong back cover, which is about some guy and his dog, but the front cover and interior are both correct.) Send $8 if you're in the USA (international shipping is a bitch, contact me for a quote but it's going to be bad.) via paypal to spark.costumes@gmail.com and tick the tickybox to include your address. Include any notes about inscriptions, lewd doodles, or anything else you want me to put on there along with my signature.

4. Get a full price signed paperback from me. Same process as above, just send $13 instead, and you'll get one of the corrected books as soon as they reach me.

Ta-da, books!

On The Black God's Altar (3545 words) by bladespark
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: The Sacrifice by Stephanie Park
Rating: Explicit
Warnings: Rape/Non-Con
Relationships: Bel/Alitius, Bel/Oisin
Characters: Bel (The Sacrifice), Oisin (The Sacrifice), Alitius (The Sacrifice)
Additional Tags: Rape/Non-con Elements, The Author Regrets Nothing, Vampires, Hurt/Comfort, Alternate Universe - Canon Divergence
Summary:

When the dark god Alitius used the vampire god Bel's true name to bind him, Oisin came to the rescue just in time. But what if he hadn't? What exactly would Alitius have done while he had his hated enemy bound on his own altar? And will Oisin be able to help Bel reclaim his name when all is said and done?

This is probably sick and wrong. It is definitely self-indulgent, though, because this, dear reader, is me writing fanfic of my own original fic. (Everything inevitably gets fucked-up fanfic written of it, right? It's just that The Sacrifice is never going to be popular, so I figure I might as well do it myself, since nobody else will. :D ) The Sacrifice just came out in paperback, and this is my 100th story here on AO3, and I thought both of those things deserved celebrating. So while I know this won't be what most of you are here for, it's what I wanted to write. (The original book is fully consensual and fairly sweet. This is... not on the first, but possibly still on the second.)

I don't think I've spammed this thing everywhere, but I've posted about The Sacrifice a hell of a lot today.

Here on DW I think I'm done, barring any kind of weird news etc.

Instead I'll be babbling on about Cybersix some more, probably. I got the story to a stopping point, and I may post it as-is (I have shared it with my patrons already.) Though I want to write more, if I didn't have a lap full of needy goober and a lack of spoons, I'd be writing a little slice of life bittersweet scene which would open the second part.
