It's also kind of fun to see how far I've come in my art. I mean I haven't made the kind of advances that I'd have made if I were one of those obsessive artists who is all about constantly improving. I draw for fun, so a lot of my drawings don't build my skill at all, they're just meant to be enjoyed. (This is also part of why I don't like critique. Very often I know exactly what a piece needs in order to be miles better, I just didn't want to do it because it would have been too much work and I wouldn't be having fun anymore. :P)
Anyhow! Here is my first Dansk, drawn sometime... I don't know around 2004?
Here's my second Dansk, drawn today!
Dansk are a race from one of my very-seldom-used science fiction settings. Actually the same one that firecats hail from. I love the setting, and I'm pretty fond of the races in it, but I don't have much in the way of stories to tell there. Someday maybe. The Dansk are probably my favorite race from the setting. I have !cats and !caninds and !dragons, and they're all fairly interesting, but !lobster warrior-philosophers are moreso, I think!
